About CupCarbon Klaines

What is CupCarbon?

CupCarbon is a Smart City and IoT Wireless Sensor Network simulator. Networks are designed directly on an OpenStreetMap-based canvas, and nodes are programmed in Python (through the cup_* functions) or in SenScript. It is used worldwide for research, education and prototyping of IoT, WSN and Digital Twin applications.

CupCarbon Klaines

Klaines is the latest generation — the Agentic Digital Twin IoT Designer. On top of the classic simulator it adds:

• an n8n-style Agentic AI workflow editor with a real execution engine (JavaScript {{ $json }} expressions, per-item data model);
• an AI Agent node connected to Anthropic Claude or OpenAI, with conversation memory and chatbot support;
• a two-way bridge between the simulated nodes and the workflows (cup_toagent / cup_fromagent);
• remote control from the browser over MQTT (web console, Studio, web workflow editor) with secure per-session topics.
